SPORT E DIVERSAMENTE ABILI

Il Comune di Ponzano intende garantire il diritto allo sport in tutte le sue espressioni, “promuovendo la massima diffusione della pratica sportiva per disabili in ogni fascia di età e di popolazione” affinché ciascun disabile abbia l’opportunità di migliorare il proprio benessere e di trovare una giusta dimensione nel vivere civile proprio attraverso lo sport quale strumento di recupero, di crescita culturale e fisica nonché di educazione dell’individuo disabile e non.
Tra gli eventi patrocinati, si ricorda in particolare il sostegno dato nel 2004 alla “Giornata dello Sport indoor” per persone disabili, svoltosi al PalaCicogna, e la manifestazione “Sportivamente Insieme”, organizzata al PalaCicogna ogni anno fino al 2008 dal Servizio Disabili dell’U.L.S.S. n° 9 di Treviso nel periodo pre-natalizio dedicata ai soggetti diversamente abili dei diversi servizi dell’ULSS 9 (circa 150) con attività ludico-sportive.
Nel dare sostegno alle attività sportive dedicate ai soggetti diversamente abili, l’amministrazione comunale ha previsto, nelle convenzioni siglate con i soggetti gestori del PalaCicogna, dello stadio comunale “Bepi Pizzolon” e del campo da baseball, che al mattino dei giorni feriali gli impianti vengano messi prioritariamente a disposizione gratuita delle scuole dell'obbligo del Comune per proprie attività e delle Associazioni del Volontariato comunali per lo svolgimento di attività a favore di portatori di handicap, di anziani e per attività riabilitative, con programmi da presentarsi entro il 31 ottobre di ogni anno ai soggetti gestori degli impianti sportivi.
Presso il PalaCicogna dal 2009 si organizza un’attività ludico motoria per soggetti diversamente abili dell’Associazione “Il Burraco” di Ponzano Veneto.

Corsi di arrampicata sportiva
Il 13 giugno 2010 il Comune di Ponzano Veneto ha inaugurato la nuova parete di arrampicata sportiva allestita presso la palestra della nuova scuola prima di Ponzano in via Diritti dell’Infanzia n. 1, nell’ambito di un progetto volto a conseguire obiettivi di integrazione tra ragazzi abili e disabili, in collaborazione con l’associazione Abilmente Insieme di Ponzano Veneto.
Dal 2004 l’Associazione di Volontariato Abilmente Insieme si attiva ell’organizzazione e nella gestione dell’integrazione dei bambini e ragazzi disabili con gruppi di soggetti normodotati attraverso l’attività di arrampicata sportiva per loro adattata, tramite istruttori F.A.S.I. che hanno conseguito il brevetto di abilitazione C.I.P. (Comitato Italiano Paralimpico) come tecnici specializzati in arrampicata sportiva per disabili (Special Climb), ed Educatori Sportivi CONI, con l’obiettivo di accrescerne l’autostima, la conoscenza di sè e degli altri, e il senso della responsabilità.
Riconoscere la condizione di disabilità nei vincoli e nelle possibilità che questa comporta, e quindi promuovere un percorso che porti ogni persona ad acquisire il massimo grado di autonomia possibile pur nel riconoscimento della condizione di limite, è la base del nostro progetto.
Lo scopo dell’associazione Abilmente Insieme è far raggiungere ai ragazzi la massima autonomia attraverso lo sviluppo di tecniche sportive che richiedono capacità di concentrazione, conoscenza di sè e degli altri, costanza, senso di responsabilità, accrescendone così l’autostima, fondamentale per le persone che si trovano costantemente a confrontarsi con la diversità, qualsiasi essa sia: sociale, fisica o psichica.
L’arrampicata sportiva, in particolare, consente uno sviluppo psicofisico armonico e stimolano le percezioni spazio-temporali, introducendo un forte aumento motivazionale al raggiungimento degli obiettivi prefissati, dove non sono tanto importanti le “difficoltà che si superano”, ma l’atteggiamento che ogni soggetto realizza nell’affrontare le problematicità imposte dall’ambiente e dagli itinerari, relazionandosi e confrontandosi con i compagni per superare le difficoltà.
Questi effetti positivi non riguardano solo i ragazzi disabili: è ampiamente dimostrato infatti dalla ricerche internazionali che la qualità dell’apprendimento, delle abilità sociali e dell’autostima sono più elevati nei ragazzi normodotati che fanno esperienza di condivisione dei percorsi di apprendimento e relazione con compagni disabili.
Abilmente Insieme si impegna a trovare i fondi per far accedere ai corsi le persone in stato di disagio e a fare da tramite fra i ragazzi e le associazione sportive per costruire progetti di inserimento, allenamento e attività agonistica nei corsi per normodotati; il tutto mantenendo costante il contatto con le famiglie, monitorando le eventuali situazioni di disagio, cercando di proporre la soluzione migliore per il raggiungimento degli obiettivi pianificati.
L’intento futuro è l’ampliamento dell’offerta sportiva dove integrare i ragazzi con diverse disabilità, seguiti da personale qualificato, se possibile nelle Società Sportive già presenti nel territorio.
