PONZANO VENETO NELLA RETE TREVIGIANA PER L'ATTIVITA' FISICA, BASATA SULLA CARTA DI TORONTO
"Lasciamo il Segno", a cui ha aderito anche il Comune di Ponzano Veneto, coinvolge a livello provinciale 258 partners, che in diversi ambiti (sanità, amministrazioni pubbliche, ambiente, trasporti, sport, scuola, urbanistica, settore privato) possono favorire o promuovere, con diverse modalità, l'attività fisica come strumento per accrescere la salute di tutta la popolazione.
Il significato di costituire una rete, oltre a rappresentare una possibilità per ottimizzare azioni e risorse tra stakeholders, è anche quello di acquisire maggior forza nel comunicare al cittadino l'importanza dell'attività motoria come mezzo per mantenere la salute, enfatizzando l'impegno comune (pur nelle rispettive peculiarità).
Si è individuato come momento fondante della rete l'adesione collettiva alla Carta di Toronto in occasione di un evento ufficiale che si è svolto il 20 settembre 2012, presso l'Auditorium della Provincia di Treviso, nel contesto delle "Giornate provinciali dell'ambiente"
"Lasciamo il Segno" è promosso da: Dipartimento Prevenzione, Distretti socio-sanitari, Provincia di Treviso, Ufficio Scolastico Territoriale, Comune di Motta di Livenza, Comune di Treviso, presidenza CONI provinciale, Ass. Verde Sport, Coordinamento provinciale del volontariato.
La ‘Carta di Toronto' si rivolge a tutte le figure fondamentali rappresentanti settori diversi della società civile: sanità, trasporti, ambiente, sport e tempo libero, istruzione e formazione, pianificazione urbanistica, oltre all'amministrazione pubblica, alla società civile e al settore privato, la cui attività incide direttamente o indirettamente sull'accessibilità per la popolazione alla pratica motoria.
Redatta a Toronto nel maggio 2010 da un gruppo di esperti appartenenti al Global Advocacy for Physical Activity (Gapa) ed integrata nel febbraio 2011 dal documento "I migliori investimenti per l'Attività Fisica" definisce un insieme di ambiti d'azione individuali e sociali di dimostrata efficacia nel promuovere una vita più attiva.
Ecco in sintesi quanto si è realizzato, tra l'altro, nel 2016 nel territorio dell'ULSS 2 Marca Trevigiana:
I Gruppi di cammino continuano ad essere attivi (attualmente sono censiti più di 40 gruppi con walking leader o istruttore); parte dei gruppi ha recentemente camminato insieme in occasione della Giornata nazionale del camminare, che nel territorio trevigiano quest'anno ha interessato le rive del Sile nella zona di Cendon - Casale.
Oltre ad alcune serate di presentazione in alcuni Comuni, si sono nel corso dell'anno incontrati o ricontattati tutti i referenti comunali di progetto per organizzare dei rilanci periodici dell'attività.
Un altro fronte su cui "Lasciamo il egno" continua ad essere impegnato è il progetto Green Tour, verde in Movimento, un'iniziativa di rigenerazione territoriale incentrata sulla promozione del benessere per tutto il territorio attraversato. Green Tour, è un progetto strategico avviato dalla Regione Veneto per completare la propria rete di percorsi ambientali incentrati sulla storica ferrovia dismessa Treviso-Ostiglia in collegamento con il fiume Po, il fiume Sile, il fiume Mincio, la Laguna di Venezia e il Mare Adriatico. Quest'anno il progetto ha visto l'introduzione sperimentale di menu salutari Greentour, l'apertura di un sito internet dedicato (http://www.greentourverdeinmovimento.com/), il Greentour Day l'8 maggio con lezioni aperte, esibizioni, camminate, prove di canoa, giochi ed il coinvolgimento di tantissime persone.
Durante l'estate si sono moltiplicate le iniziative di attività motoria per tutti al parco con ‘Datti una mossa’ nei Comuni di Silea, Preganziol, Roncade e Treviso, sostenute dalle numerose Associazioni sportive dilettantistiche che hanno offerto gratuitamente tante lezioni e pratiche di varie discipline. E' continuata l'iniziativa di promozione dell'attività motoria rivolta agli utenti degli screening colon-retto e mammella con 60 Associazioni sportive che ad oggi hanno sottoscritto l'accordo ufficiale con Ulss 9.
Nell'ambito della promozione della motricità fin dalla prima infanzia, è ripresa la formazione degli insegnanti nel programma 'Move.it' per nidi e materne.
La rete ha preso parte, inoltre, alla Giornata Nazionale dello sport di Quinto e Morgano, di Ponzano Veneto e alla Settimana dello sport di Treviso.

Le attività sportive e ricreative hanno effetti benefici sulla salute e in più svolgono una funzione sociale ed educativa. L'attività fisica inoltre aiuta a prevenire le malattie.
Nel luglio 2007 l'UE ha adottato un documento sullo sport, che fa seguito alle strategie per l'attività fisica e la salute di cui al Libro bianco del 2007 sugli aspetti sanitari connessi all'alimentazione, al sovrappeso e all'obesità.
Creare un ambiente favorevole alle attività sportive e ricreative può ridurre il numero degli infortuni e delle lesioni. L'UE raccoglie e raffronta i dati sugli infortuni e le lesioni che si verificano negli Stati membri, nell'intento di sostenere le iniziative intraprese insieme dagli organismi e dalle associazioni sportive nazionali per migliorare la sicurezza in tutta Europa.
